DragonBet has embraced the excitement surrounding Oasis's reunion by introducing a series of themed race titles for their sponsored event at Ffos Las on Thursday.

As fans eagerly await the chance to purchase tickets for Oasis's upcoming summer concerts across Britain and Ireland this weekend, race enthusiasts at Ffos Las are being given an early taste of the rock'n'roll spirit.

The Welsh betting firm has playfully rebranded their first race as the "DragonBet Some Might Lay Nursery Handicap," and continued with the trend by naming subsequent races "Half A Furlong Away Handicap," "Champagne Super Novice Stakes," "Foal With It Handicap," and "Ride Away Handicap."

James Lovell, a spokesperson for DragonBet, commented, "As an independent company that likes to stand out, we decided to have some fun with these race names. We were all thrilled by the Oasis news, and it's fantastic that their first reunion concerts will be at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff."

Lovell, who has fond memories of Manchester’s music scene from his student days at Salford University, expressed his enthusiasm for the band's return. "We probably spent more time than we should have brainstorming these names. Although there might be some suggestions we missed, it was a blast diving into their catalogue. We're excited about this sponsorship at Ffos Las and are open to any offers for swapping Oasis tickets for our track pitch!"

However, there’s a small hitch—an inspection scheduled for 7.30 am will determine if the races can proceed due to recent rain, leaving the event’s status as a “definitely maybe.”
