"Field Of Gold Among 15 Entered for Sky Bet Solario Stakes"

"Field Of Gold aims to boost John and Thady Gosden's illustrious Solario Stakes record in Saturday's Sky Bet Solario Stakes at Sandown."
Field Of Gold, an impressive winner of the Newmarket maiden, stands out as an exciting contender among the 15 horses entered for Saturday's Sky Bet Solario Stakes at Sandown.
On his debut at Doncaster, he placed third behind Stonehenge Stakes winner New Century. The Juddmonte-owned son of Kingman, who was purchased for EURO 530,000 as a foal, then dazzled on his second start at the July course, galloping clear of his competitors under Kieran Shoemark's guidance.
Under the guidance of John and Thady Gosden, the young horse could aim to follow in his sire's footsteps by clinching victory in the Group Three event, further bolstering the Gosden team's impressive track record in the race.
John Gosden has secured victories in the seven-furlong event not only with Kingman in previous years but also with notable horses such as Raven's Pass and Too Darn Hot. Clarehaven's latest triumph in the competition came with Thady as co-trainer, courtesy of Reach For The Moon in 2021.

Clarehaven currently boasts a joint record of six Solario Stakes victories, and Field Of Gold has the potential to elevate the Newmarket team beyond the legendary Sir Henry Cecil by securing an impressive seventh win in Esher.
'Field Of Gold is in excellent condition and is set to compete in the Solario,' stated Barry Mahon, the European racing manager for Juddmonte.
'John and Thady both believe he has progressed significantly since his maiden win. Although we considered the Acomb, John ultimately felt that this race was a better fit to transition into some of the more competitive races in the autumn.
'We are taking him to Sandown, and we are hopeful he will perform well, which will set us up nicely for the autumn,'

Remarkably, this prize has eluded Aidan O'Brien, who could now be represented by dual Tipperary winner and Tyros Stakes third, Surpass. Meanwhile, his son Joseph O'Brien has entered Midnight Strike, one of two potential runners for owners Teme Valley, alongside Charlie Hills' Haydock winner, Victory Sound.
Following his recent triumph at the Ebor Festival in York, Richard Hannon has entered three horses, one of which is Angel Hunter. Another entry from the Everleigh handler is the two-time winner Linwood.
Hugo Palmer, who guided Aktabantay to victory in this race in 2014, returns to Sandown a decade later with Seagulls Eleven. This Superlative Stakes runner-up is owned by a group of Brighton & Hove Albion players, led by James Milner.
Ralph Beckett's Matauri Bay may advance to stakes company following an impressive debut at Leicester. Likewise, George Boughey's effortless Newmarket winner Asuka and Andrew Balding's dominant Salisbury victor Royal Playwright are on a similar trajectory.
Additionally, the Sky Bet Atalanta Stakes features 15 entries in the other Group Three action on the card, including David Menuisier's Prix de Diane third-place finisher Tamfana, the Gosdens' course-and-distance winner Spiritual, and the Al Shaqab-owned Royal Ascot heroine Doha.
