Godolphin filly kept on strongly to secure Group Two Doncaster win.
Desert Flower's dominant finish to win the Betfred May Hill Stakes at Doncaster validated even money favouritism and preserved her undefeated record.
Charlie Appleby was the trainer of the Night Of Thunder filly, who had already won two races at Newmarket before joining Group Two.
Two furlongs away, Ollie Sangster's Flight was cruising into the lead while William Buick was getting lower in the saddle on the market leader, and she momentarily appeared in a spot of trouble.
But not long after, Desert Flower adjusted her strategy, and she ultimately won the race by placing first in her class.
Flight faded back into third place, and she went on to win by a length and a half over Aidan O'Brien's January.
