Treasure Time's Triumph Lights Up York: RaceShare Owners Gearing Up for St Leger Festival

Scenes of celebration at York on Friday were a joy to behold.

Treasure Time, the star of the RaceShare syndicate, is set for another thrilling outing at next month’s Betfred St Leger Festival following his recent victory in the York winner's enclosure. The three-year-old colt, trained by the renowned William Haggas, secured a memorable win in the Ebor Festival’s handicap race, leading to jubilant celebrations on the Knavesmire.

RaceShare, known for offering a taste of racehorse ownership at a more accessible price, witnessed approximately 125 of their owners cheering on Treasure Time. The excitement was palpable, with many joining in the trophy presentation and celebrating with champagne provided by York Racecourse.

Looking ahead, RaceShare's Ash White mentioned that Treasure Time’s next race is likely to be a one-mile handicap at Doncaster on St Leger day. Although this will be his first time competing against older horses, his impressive performance at York and his family’s strong pedigree suggest promising prospects.

White emphasized RaceShare’s commitment to involving all owners, regardless of their level of investment or ability to attend races. The syndicate also has future targets for Treasure Time, including the Balmoral Handicap on British Champions Day and Royal Ascot next year.

Adding to the excitement, RaceShare has extended its partnership with esteemed punter and bloodstock investor Patrick Veitch until at least 2030. Veitch, who has previously sourced successful horses like Scampi and La Pulga, will continue leading the buying team. He noted that while RaceShare focuses on the middle market and horses-in-training, his collaborations with Tony Bloom and Ian McAleavy cater to the upper end of the yearling market, making for a well-rounded approach.

The continued success on the racecourse and the positive feedback from owners underscore RaceShare’s growing reputation in the world of horse racing.
