"Whole horse" Charyn ready for a delicious Moulin

Guineas winner Notable Speech awaits in ParisLongchamp showdown.

Ready to continue his incredible season in the Prix du Moulin, Charyn is firing on all cylinders for his all-star matchup with 2000 Guineas hero Notable Speech. Roger Varian refers to this horse as the "complete horse".

The four-year-old has had an outstanding season, winning four of his five appearances and solidifying his status as one of the world's top milers by winning important races at Deauville's Prix Jacques le Marois and Royal Ascot's Queen Anne Stakes.

The Group One-winning juvenile Henry Longfellow, trained by Aidan O'Brien and trained by Charlie Appleby, presents another formidable test for the son of Dark Angel, but the Newmarket trainer is looking forward to the battle on Sunday at ParisLongchamp.

Varian stated: "We're enjoying the journey he is taking us on this year and we're looking forward to it."

"You have to look forward to competing in these thrilling races and facing some three-year-olds on Sunday; the horse seems to be getting stronger and stronger." It will be intriguing to observe our performance."

After failing to deliver a decisive blow in his three-year campaign, Charyn's ascent to the top of the mile division is rather surprising.

But Varian never wavered in his conviction in Nurlan Bizakov's colt, and after promising winter preparation and early-season victories at Doncaster and Sandown, he believed he had a competitor with top-drawer potential.

Varian went on, "He ran a significant campaign last year because we always thought the world of him. Therefore, I would argue that his success is not surprising, but we also know how difficult it is to compete at the top table.

Roger Varian (John Walton/PA) is having fun traveling with Charyn.

"It could have been difficult to predict this time last year, but after seeing him through the winter and his performance in the spring—albeit in listed company at Doncaster in March—it seemed like he was beginning to develop into the full horse.

"I suppose we might say that he is; he now appears to be the whole horse. He has a good, tough attitude, is mature, and has a powerful mind. In addition, he is incredibly versatile, handling a variety of situations and coming across as one who fits any given description.

"He's simply demonstrating his exceptional talent, and these horses are scarce." We will love it because he is one of them."

Notable Speech reaffirmed his place among the elite at this distance when he won the Sussex Stakes at Goodwood, following his impressive performance in the 2000 Guineas. He also recovered well from the disappointment of losing the St James's Palace Stakes at the Royal meeting.

Although it will be his first encounter with Charyn and his first time facing a predicted softer surface, the handler of Moulton Paddocks is supporting him to succeed in the French city.

Appleby stated to godolphin.com: "There is a lot of order in the Notable Speech." The going will be the apparent unknown; Paris saw a lot of rain on Thursday, but perhaps we can have a few dry days as they race on a newly created stretch of land.

"When it comes to Notable Speech's well-being, I couldn't be happier. It's going to be an extremely fascinating race after he demonstrated in the Sussex Stakes that he was back to what we saw in the 2000 Guineas.

"Charyn appears to be our primary rival, but as is typical in these elite races, there is a strong field.

"We are thrilled to be involved, and maybe Notable Speech will be able to continue having a great year. Although this will be his first experience with this kind of terrain, we are confident he can handle it. The experience is almost akin to a guessing game until you get to race on it."

Henry Longfellow is now in third place on the scoreboard, although he has demonstrated excellent form, placing second only to Rosallion at Royal Ascot.

Although the staff at Ballydoyle is happy to draw a ' through that appearance, things did not go as planned when they were sent off as the favorite to defeat Notable Speech at Goodwood.

"It was" (a shambles at Goodwood), according to O'Brien. Our final thought was that we couldn't picture anyone going with him since we could not believe what had happened.

"Well, that's just racing, but it was crazy." Although we are all free to do as we like, we made a mistake. He was there and unable to escape, even if we weren't present when it happened. He needed to persevere."

The leading trainer in the race, Andre Fabre, is saddled with Tribalist, who may be the best hope for the French.

With Christopher Head's Ramadan and Carlos Laffon-Parias's Kelina (Carlos Laffon-Parias), the winner of the Prix de la Foret last year, this is the toughest test of Francois Rohaut's unbeaten Caramelito's career.
